Paid Vacation

I booked my flight for next week.  Going to Virginia.  My brother is officially moving Thursday, that's when he'll leave good ole California to trek across the country to live in the south.  I'm flying out Tuesday to help him get settled in and make sure he has everything he needs.  I fly back early Friday morning to make it back for the concert at the Hollywood Bowl that night.

Best part of the trip is that I get paid for it.  Since I've been at my job for over a year, I now get paid vacations (in addition to paid holidays).  That's awesome right?  Ok so I get like one week paid, but still that's better then nothing.

Every two years or so

I wash my car.  Well today was the day I did it.  When people start making comments about how you need to clean your windows, well I figure that's a big enough push to do it.

Right now my car is somewhat shiny, looks like it has horrible paint, but hey I can see through the windows so much easier.  Maybe I should wash it every 18 months or so.  Or at least clean my windows every few weeks.
