Day2: Podunkville and finding the dump

Wednesday: September 3

We woke up early (I was on west coast time the entire time), we got dress and I took some pictures of the inside of the apartment and then also the outside where the "farm" is.

Then we got cracking on putting together John's new bed (which again we got the same bed (this time in different colors and sizes) and the same mattress) from IKEA. It wasn't that hard but when you are limited with the tools you have it makes building go that much slower. But we got it down, rolled out his mattress and we were good to go.

After building the bed we built some bookshelves for the living room. Then it was time to rest a bit before we loaded up the trash to take to a dump before we could drop off the moving truck and take Paul to the airport. And the trip to dump was eventful because we couldn't find it. So we drove around for quite awhile (I rode with Paul in the moving truck so he wouldn't have to be stuck by himself since he had to make the drive to IKEA by himself the night before). And I snapped some pictures of the scenery.

It is pretty will all the trees surrounding the roads.

After we realized that we couldn't find the dump we just headed to find a store that would have a dumpster, and we did. Paul and I emptied out the truck and then I swept it out. We turned in the truck and then headed towards Dulles. We dropped off Paul and headed back so we could do some household chores. We started to do laundry so that by the time I left everything he owned would be clean and then went to bed. It was another long day.
